Dholavira : a Harappan City

 

Dholavira :  a Harappan city, is one of the very few well preserved urban settlements in South Asia dating from the 3rd to mid-2nd millennium BCE. Being the 6th largest of more than 1,000 Harappan sites discovered so far, and occupied for over 1,500 years, Dholavira not only witnesses the entire trajectory of the rise and fall of this early civilization of humankind, but also demonstrates its multifaceted achievements in terms of urban planning, construction techniques, water management, social governance and development, art, manufacturing, trading, and belief system. With extremely rich artefacts, the well preserved urban settlement of Dholavira depicts a vivid picture of a regional centre with its distinct characteristics that also contributes significantly to the existing knowledge of Harappan Civilization as a whole.

The property comprises two parts: a walled city and a cemetery to the west of the city. The walled city consists of a fortified Castle with attached fortified Bailey and Ceremonial Ground, and a fortified Middle Town and a Lower Town. A series of reservoirs are found to the east and south of the Citadel. The great majority of the burials in the Cemetery are memorial in nature.

The configuration of the city of Dholavira, during its heyday, is an outstanding example of planned city with planned and segregated urban residential areas based on possibly differential occupational activities, and a stratified society. Technological advancements in water harnessing systems, water drainage systems as well architecturally and technologically developed features are reflected in the design, execution, and effective harnessing of local materials. Unlike other Harappan antecedent towns normally located near to rivers and perennial sources of water, the location of Dholavira in the island of Khadir was strategic to harness different mineral and raw material sources (copper, shell, agate-carnelian, steatite, lead, banded limestone, among others) and to facilitate internal as well as external trade to the Magan (modern Oman peninsula) and Mesopotamian regions.

Dholavira is an exceptional example of a proto-historic Bronze Age urban settlement pertaining to the Harappan Civilization (early, mature and late Harappan phases) and bears evidence of a multi-cultural and stratified society during the 3rd and 2nd millennia BCE. हाल ही में रूस ने दुनिया के सबसे बड़े परमाणु बम विस्‍फोट का एक वीडियो संसार के सामने जारी कर दिया है। अब तक के टॉप सीक्रेट रहे इस महाविनाशक वीडियो में सबसे बड़े परमाणु बम विस्‍फोट का पूरा विवरण दिया गया है। इवान नामक इस परमाणु बम की ताकत का अंदाजा इस बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि, यह जापान के हिरोशिया में गिराए गए परमाणु बम से यह 3333 गुना ज्‍यादा शक्तिशाली है। रूस ने कोल्‍ड वॉर के दौरान अपने जा बांबा डिवाइस का 30 अक्‍टूबर 1961 को बैरंट सागर में परीक्षण किया था। और इस परमाणु बम की विनाशक क्षमता को देखते हुए इसे धरती के खात्‍मे का भी हथियार कहा जाने लगा। रूस का यह इवान परमाणु बम विस्‍फोट दुनिया में अब तक हुए सभी परमाणु विस्‍फोटों में से सबसे शक्तिशाली था व यह करीब 50 मेगाटन का था एंव यह पांच करोड़ टन परंपरागत विस्‍फोटकों के बराबर ताकत से फटा भी था। इस परमाणु बम को रूसी विमान ने आर्कटिक समुद्र में नोवाया जेमल्‍या के ऊपर बर्फ में गिराया गया था। जिसको महाविनाशक परमाणु बम के प्रोग्राम इजाड़ीलीइये 202 के तहत बनाया गया था लेकिन बाद में जब इस परमाणु बम के बारे में पश्चिमी दुनिया को पता चला तो इसका नाम टीसार बोम्बे रख दिया गया था। 20 अगस्‍त को रूस के रोस्‍तम स्‍टेट अटॉमिक एनर्जी कॉर्पोरेशन ने अब अपने यू्ट्यूब चैनल पर 30 मिनट की डॉक्‍यूमेंट्री जारी की है। जिसमें विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि, रूस ने अपने परीक्षण के जरिए शानदार तकनीकी उपलब्धि हासिल की है। बहरहाल, इस महाविनाशक परमाणु बम का खौफ इतना ज्‍यादा था कि कैमरों को भी सैकड़ों मील की दूरी पर लगाया गया था। साथ ही उन्‍हें लो लाइट पोजिशन में भी रखा गया था ताकि वह परमाणु विस्‍फोट की चमक में अंधे न हो जाएं। तथा इन शक्तिशाली कैमरों ने करीब 40 सेकंड तक आग के गोले का वीडियो बनाया और उसके बाद यह मशरूम के बादल के रूप में बदल गये। और इस विस्‍फोट स्‍थल से सो मील की दूरी पर स्थित एक विमान ने मशरूम के आकार के गुबार का वीडियो बनाया। जो करीब 213,000 फुट की ऊंचाई तक गया था। गौरतलब है कि, इस विस्‍फोट के फुटेज को रूस ने करीब छह दशक तक टॉप सीक्रेट रखा था लेकिन अब रोस्‍तम के 75 साल पूरे होने पर उसे जारी किया गया है। वैसे रूस की सेना ने टीसार बोम्बे को आरड़ीएस-220 नाम दिया था। और यह दुनिया में बनाया गया सबसे बड़ा परमाणु बम है। व इसे उस समय बनाया गया था जब अमेरिका और सोवियत संघ के बीच कोल्‍ड वॉर अपने चरम पर था। सोवियत संघ ने अमेरिका के थर्मोन्‍यूक्लियर डिवाइस को टक्‍कर देने के लिए इस इवान नामक परमाणु बम का निर्माण किया था। वर्ष 1954 में अमेरिका ने अपने सबसे बड़े थर्मोन्‍यूक्लियर डिवाइस का मार्शल आईलैंड पर परीक्षण किया था। जो डिवाइस 15 मेगाटन का था। और उसका नाम कास्‍टल ब्रावो था। एंव उस समय वह सभी के परमाणु बमों में से ज्‍यादा ताकतवर था। और इसकी सूचना जब सोवियत संघ को लगी तो उसने अमेरिका को टक्‍कर देने की ठानी।तथा सोवियत संघ ने अमेरिका को जवाब देने के लिए मात्र 7 साल के अंदर ही दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा परमाणु बम बना डाला। और इस परमाणु बम को पहले ट्रेन के जरिए ओलेन्‍या एयरबेस ले जाया गया जहां से उसे लंबी दूरी तक मार करने में सक्षम टीयू-95 पर लादा गया। व 30 अक्‍टूबर को इस बॉम्‍बर ने उड़ान भरी और करीब 600 मील की यात्रा करके सेवेर्नी द्वीप पहुंचा। जो द्वीप आर्कटिक के काफी अंदर है। और बॉम्‍बर ने बम को गिरा दिया जिसमें एक पैराशूट लगा हुआ था। इससे बम धीरे-धीरे धरती पर गिरा और विमान को इतना समय मिल गया कि वह विस्‍फोट की जद में नहीं आ सका। जब यह बम जमीन से करीब 13 हजार फुट की ऊंचाई पर पहुंच गया तब उसमें विस्‍फोट कर दिया गया। यह विस्‍फोट इतना भयानक था कि, इसे इंसान की ओर से किया गया सबसे बड़ा धमाका कहा गया। और अगर इस बम को दिल्‍ली जैसे किसी ओर श‍हर पर गिराया जाता तो वह पूरा शहर ही राख के ढेर में बदल जाता। उस राज्य में रहने वाले ज्‍यादातर लोग बुरी तरह से जल जाते। इस विस्‍फोट से रिक्‍टर पैमाने पर 5 की तीव्रता का भूकंप आता और इसे दुनियाभर में महसूस किया जाता। इस विस्‍फोट को पाकिस्‍तान तक देखा जाता और वहां तक रेडियोधर्मी असर पड़ सकता था। इस विस्‍फोट के बाद अमेरिका और रूस ने वर्ष 1963 में एक संधि पर हस्‍ताक्षर किये। और दोनों देशों ने हवा में परमाणु बम के परीक्षणों पर रोक लगा दी। व दोनों देशों ने जमीन के अंदर परमाणु परीक्षण शुरू किया। अमेरिका ने सोवियत संघ से बड़ा परमाणु बम बनाए जाने की बजाय छोटे परमाणु बम बनाने पर जोर दिए ताकि उन्‍हें मिसाइलों में फिट किया जा सके। चिंतापूणर्ण विषय यह है कि अगर कभी किसी भी देश में लड़ाई इतनी गहरा गई कि बात युद्ध तक पहुंच गई तो यकीनन सभी देशों ने अपने आप को इतना सक्षम बना रखा है कि दुनिया का नाश होना तो पक्का है।

How the Average Person Can Start An Online Business

 I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

BE REALISTIC:

1: Realize that until you fix your own financial problems, starting a legitimate business will be out of the question. This was a tough realization for me, but I’ve learned that you can have the best business concept in the history of the universe, but if you can’t fund it and do it right, it’ll never succeed.

2: Sell everything you can possibly sell. Especially liabilities that have monthly payments. If it wasn’t nailed down, I sold it. I lost money on most everything, but it was worth it in the long run.

3: Consolidate debt and cancel all unnecessary subscriptions. This allowed me to lower my monthly obligations, decrease interest rates on certain debts and pay bigger chunks towards the debt.

FOCUS ON THE MONEY:

1: Search for a higher paying job. Often, we underestimate ourselves and what we are capable of accomplishing. Put yourself out there and see what’s available. What's the worst a potential employer can say, no? This is actually how I ended up in Syria. I was able to more than double my salary by accepting a position that most people wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole. I even grew to love the job, but initially, I was simply making a personal sacrifice to achieve a long-term goal. As an entrepreneur, if you are not willing to make sacrifices, you are in the wrong line of work.

2: Use a skill, learn a skill or try something new. Stop worrying about starting a business and focus on actually earning money. I was able to earn an additional $1,500 a month by writing content for people’s blogs, creating social media content and writing small informational eBooks. Here is a solid hint. If you want to make money, be willing to do the grunt work. Do the things that people don’t like to do themselves.

It wasn’t glamorous, but it accelerated my debt pay off. I was able to get most of my business by joining niche forums and Facebook groups. Here is a solid hint – niche forums and Facebook groups are two of the only places on the internet that you can get those eyeballs for free, but you have to be offering something they are actively seeking.

I actually hadn’t ever done any of the services that I started offering, but with a little practice and learning from people on YouTube, I was able to surpass customers’ expectations.

STARTING A BUSINESS AND SCALING:

Once you are out of debt or close to it and have at least $2,000 to invest, it’s time to start your online business.

Here’s the process I like to follow:

1: Don’t think major corporations. Rather, start small and build. Use the new skills you learned to earn extra money during your debt payoff phase and start something you know can be profitable. We all have our dream business, but at this point, it’s more important to start something low risk and stable. Learn to be passionate about the process and business in general rather than a specific idea or concept.

2: Once you have a steady flow of business, figure out how to outsource using freelancers. Implement processes to take yourself out of the equation to the point that you are simply managing the businesses and dealing with customers. This will allow you to continue earning from the business, but it’ll free you up to work towards your next business.

3: Take the earnings from the first business and invest them into your next business concept. Ideally, you will only be investing the profits from business number one into business number two. This will allow you to continue to build your personal savings from your day job while still allowing you to invest in online businesses.

4: Rinse and repeat.

DON'T RUSH THE PROCESS. ENJOY THE JOURNEY:

Personally, I like to have three to five businesses running at any given time. Two or three of them will be low-end grunt work type businesses that fund my ideal businesses.

The grunt work businesses are profitable because everyone hates to do their own grunt work. It’s the reason people pay to have their houses cleaned and their lawns mowed.

You can easily and successfully scale without having to invest money earned from your full-time job. This allows you to continue to save and grow financially while you are building something real.

Windows requires adequate computer specifications. There is no other way but we have to replace the computer to install the operating system. While Linux can run on low computer specifications

7 System update

Windows often requires us to install automatic updates which will definitely take a long time. However, the user is not given any other choice as a better option. While Linux does not require us to perform updates automatically

Linux already has many variants to choose from. For example Ubuntu, Kali Linux, and LinuxMint. Many of them have developed Linux code due to its Open Source nature. You can ask the community in various parts of the world when you have problems in programming. Suitable for developers but not suitable for gamers and businessmen. Where the choice itself depends on the needs of the user

Arrays

 

Well most of you may be familiar with the word array if not then you will be after reading next few lines.

What is array?

An array is a variable which stores number of values with the same data type. Where data type is kind of sense of computer through which computer recognize the type of data. Array is initialize by the square brackets []. Numbers of brackets shows the number of dimensions of an array. Single set [] of square brackets shows the one-D array. Where the two sets [][] of square brackets shows the 2-D arrays and three sets [][][] of square brackets shows 3-D array and so on.

When you need to store values with same data type then you need to initialize an array with same data type of values. Suppose we have numbers of integer values. Than you need to initialize an array with int data type. The int data type is also a variable just like array which is predefined in the standard libraries. Int stands for integer.

Initializing an array without its size will generate an error!

Defining size of an error is important if you do not define or set array size than null-pointer-array error will be occur. Where in c++ we have only arraying concept but in JAVA we have array list concept. In array list, You just need to create and object of an array list and you do not need to set size of array list because array list is flexible component in java which size can contact and expand according to your need. You just need to add value in array list by add keyword. Anyways array list is another topic lets just come back to our arrays’ topic.

Errors :

Some errors can occur when we are using arrays.

i- Size of array

If you forget to put the size of an array then error will be generated.

ii- Wrong data types

If you try to add different data type values than array data. e.g : Array data type is integer and you are trying to store character( CHAR) data type value then error will be generated.

iii- Wrong index

There may be so many logical errors due to wrong index such errors compiler will not show. Arrays index starts with 0 and than 1 and so on. it means you store a value without referencing index than it will store in index 0 than if you want to store an other value without referencing index than next value will store in 0 index and you previous store value will be removed.

Virus really can't be prevented. His presence must be addressed immediately so that not more and more number. New computers are usually free of virus. As a user you can do the following to avoid virus coming to the computer

1. Beware of Flash Drive

Virus can spread through devices that can move like a Flash Drive. Because the use of Flash Drive is too often removed and installed on various components. Flash Drive needs to be scanned first so that no virus come from outside

2. Avoid downloading haphazardly

Download any file from only one source. This is because certain sites can store virus in files without us knowing. You can ask the forum to find a trusted site so you don't have to search many pages and try one by one

3. Activate the Firewall

Firewall is a system that can determine whether a computer can connect to a network or block it. This system can be a barrier for any virus to enter the computer. To access the Firewall open the Star menu then look for the Control Panel. Find a Firewall and press on or off

Tattoo care..

 Tattoos are a work of art, but they have to be taken care of properly in order to stay free from infection and to last. Before getting a tattoo, you will want to learn about tattoos, understand the link that are used, and also the tattoo aftercare.

Tattoos are permanent designs on the skin. A needle is used along with permanent pigmentation. Depending on the tattoo design, this process could take a few hours. It is imperative to have good tattoo care after getting a tattoo.

According to tattoo artists, the ink that is used in their tattoo designs is categorized as a cosmetic, and they are not under the regulations of the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). 

Tattoo artists have to be careful about keeping their equipment sterilized. If equipment is not clean, it could pose health problems. Unclean equipment could cause a blood borne disease to be passed on to someone else. Disease bsich as Hepatitis Band C, Tetanus, and HIV may be contracted. Dirty equipment can also cause skin disorders or infections. You can contract bacterial infections, and may develop what is called a resistant skin infection, Pneumonia, or a serious condition called Necotrizing Fasciitis, which eats or destroys the flesh.

Some people may develop an allergic reaction to the tattoo ink, especially the red ink. In some instances, the ink could cause problems if any individual must have an MRI. This is because of the magnets used in the machine.

You must use good tattoo aftercare because it takes a very long time for a tattoo to heal. Even years after getting a tattoo a person could develop complications.

The artist will give you tattoo care instructions to follow. Some of the things that you will want to do is to make sure you keep the tattoo and surrounding areas clean with by washing with warm soap and water, and keeping the tattoo moisturized. You should avoid direct sunlight after getting a tattoo.

Immediately after getting a tattoo, a bandage is applied. This is to protect the vulnerability of the tattoo and skin, because you are suspectible to infection. You should leave the bandage on for a minimum of three hours. The skin has been broken; therefore it needs to be protected from air borne bacteria.

It is good to soak the bandage before removing it. This will keep the bandage from sticking or pulling the skin off. You will need to keep the tattoo clean by using an anti-bacterial soap and water. It is best to wash the area with your hand rather than using a washcloth and pat the area clean instead of rubbing. The anti-bacterial will only need to be used on the very first washing.

The artist will supply you with an ointment to be used in the aid of healing the tattoo. It is recommended taht you use the ointment for at least a week. Do not use anything with a scent, or anything that has coloring in it. You will want to use the ointment constantly while the tattoo is healing. You will know when it is healing, by the appearance. If the tattoo or surrounding skin starts to peel or flake, do not pull on it or bother the area. Let the flake or peeling fall off by itself. 

There are some do's and don'ts. You make take showers, but the tattoo should not be submerged or soaked in water. You should strictly avoid swimming in salt water. You should avoid using sun tan lotions while it is healing. Most of all, you should not scratch or irritate the tattoo or surrounding area.

You can use an A&D ointment or Bacitracin on the tattoo while it is healing. Do not use Neosprin because it is not good for the them.
